## Connectivity in Bloomsburg

What is actually licensed and built around here — the starting point for any coverage job.

| Measure | Value |
| --- | --- |
| Nearest licensed site | 1.6 km south · Rogers · 91 m structure |
| Licensed sites within 10 km | 11 (Bell, Rogers) |
| Fibre | SWIFT / Rogers fibre is available here |
| Also available | Starlink |

**What this does and does not tell you.** These are licensed radio sites from ISED’s spectrum database — where carriers are permitted to transmit. It is not measured coverage. A site three kilometres away can be useless if it is behind a rise or its antennas point elsewhere, and a distant one on a tall tower with clear line of sight can be perfectly good. Whether a booster will work at your address comes down to what actually reaches your roof, which is a survey, not a calculation. ## What the work looks like in Bloomsburg

When the uplink is fast and the signal outside is fine, a complaint about coverage is nearly always about the building or the equipment in it. That is a more satisfying job than most, because it is entirely solvable: an access point in the right place, wired rather than repeated, and the problem goes away permanently.

The farms here sit on the open north Norfolk plain, which is good ground for a wireless link. Clear sightlines, few woodlots, and the main seasonal obstruction being the crop itself rather than a canopy.

## What people here ask for

- Wired access points to replace repeaters
- Straightforward links across open farm ground
- Cameras on yards and machinery
