## Connectivity in Canborough

What is actually licensed and built around here — the starting point for any coverage job.

| Measure | Value |
| --- | --- |
| Nearest licensed site | 3.6 km south-west · Bell · 90 m structure |
| Licensed sites within 10 km | 6 (Bell, Rogers) |
| Fibre | Metro Loop / Xplore fibre is under construction here |
| Also available | Starlink, fixed wireless |

**What this does and does not tell you.** These are licensed radio sites from ISED’s spectrum database — where carriers are permitted to transmit. It is not measured coverage. A site three kilometres away can be useless if it is behind a rise or its antennas point elsewhere, and a distant one on a tall tower with clear line of sight can be perfectly good. Whether a booster will work at your address comes down to what actually reaches your roof, which is a survey, not a calculation. ## What the work looks like in Canborough

The nearest site is three and a half kilometres off to the south-west, which is enough distance that what arrives at a given property depends heavily on what is between it and that direction. On a flat lot with a clear run, fine. Behind a barn or a stand of trees on the wrong side, considerably less so — and it is worth measuring rather than assuming, because both situations exist within a mile of each other here.

This corner of Haldimand runs into West Lincoln, and the property pattern carries straight across the boundary: cash-crop ground, long lots, and outbuildings placed for farming convenience rather than for anything to do with signal.

## What people here ask for
