## Connectivity in Delhi

What is actually licensed and built around here — the starting point for any coverage job.

| Measure | Value |
| --- | --- |
| Nearest licensed site | 1.1 km south-east · Bell · 21 m structure |
| Licensed sites within 10 km | 6 (Bell, Rogers) |
| Fibre | SWIFT fibre is available here |
| Also available | Execulink, Starlink |

**What this does and does not tell you.** These are licensed radio sites from ISED’s spectrum database — where carriers are permitted to transmit. It is not measured coverage. A site three kilometres away can be useless if it is behind a rise or its antennas point elsewhere, and a distant one on a tall tower with clear line of sight can be perfectly good. Whether a booster will work at your address comes down to what actually reaches your roof, which is a survey, not a calculation. ## What the work looks like in Delhi

When the tobacco industry contracted, the buildings did not go anywhere. Norfolk is full of former kilns and curing barns that have been converted into storage, workshops, equipment sheds and in some cases living space. They were built in rows, away from the house, with no thought to running data to them — which makes them a textbook case for a point-to-point link rather than a hopeful extender.

The farms around Delhi moved into ginseng, apples and grapes. Ginseng is the one that changes the security conversation: it is extremely valuable per acre, it grows under shade cloth in fields well away from the road, and it sits in the ground for years before harvest. That is a different camera problem from watching a driveway.

## What people here ask for

- Network and camera runs to converted tobacco kilns and barns
- Ginseng garden and remote field monitoring
- Cold storage and packing shed coverage
- Whole-property WiFi on working farms
