Emergency & After-Hours Service
Cameras tend to fail on the night they are needed, and a farm network goes down on a Saturday rather than a Tuesday. Some problems cannot wait for business hours.
We take emergency and after-hours calls for the systems we work on: cameras or a recorder that have stopped recording, a business or farm network that has gone down, a wireless link between buildings that has dropped, and a cell booster or satellite connection that has failed. We also do rush camera installs after a break-in or theft, when waiting a week for a slot is not an option.
After-hours, weekend and holiday callouts are charged at a premium rate. We will confirm it with you before anyone drives out, so there is no surprise on the invoice. If the problem can be sorted over the phone or can safely wait until morning, we will tell you that too.
To reach us, send the form and mark it urgent. Urgent enquiries are flagged separately from ordinary quotes, and we call back as soon as we see them.

Common questions
What counts as an emergency?
Anything that leaves a property unprotected or a business unable to work: a camera system that has stopped recording, a break-in with no footage, a network outage that stops a shop, farm or office operating, or a failed connection on a property that relies on it. If it can wait until normal hours, we will say so and save you the premium.
How much does an after-hours callout cost?
After-hours and emergency work is billed at a premium over our normal rate. What it comes to depends on the time, the distance and what is wrong, so we give you the figure on the phone before we come out rather than after.
Can you get footage off my recorder after a break-in?
Usually, as long as the recorder was recording and has not been taken or damaged. Recorders overwrite the oldest footage when they fill up, so the sooner it is pulled off the better. Do not unplug or reset it before we look at it.
Will you fix a system you did not install?
Yes. Most emergency calls are on systems someone else put in. We will get it working again first, and if the fault is something that will keep recurring, we will tell you what it would take to fix properly once the emergency is over.
Where we do this work
Across Haldimand County and Norfolk County.

- Security Camera InstallationMost camera problems in this region are not camera problems. The camera is fine; it is four hundred feet from the nearest access point, on a property where the internet stops at the house.
- CCTV InstallationA commercial CCTV system has a different job from a residential one. It has to produce footage that is actually usable weeks later, by somebody who was not there.
- Cell Signal Booster InstallationA booster does not create signal. It takes whatever is reaching your roof and makes it usable inside — which is why where the outside antenna goes matters more than which kit you buy.
- WiFi InstallationFibre arriving at your house does not put WiFi in your shop. Those are two different problems, and the second one is the one nobody solves for you.
