Satellite Internet Installation
Anyone can put a satellite dish on the ground. The install is everything that happens after that — where it is mounted, how the cable gets inside, and how the signal reaches the rest of the property.
For properties the fibre builds have not reached, satellite is often the only real option. We handle the mount, the cable route, the sealing, and the part most people actually needed help with: getting the connection from wherever the dish lands out to the buildings that need it.
A dish with a clear view of the sky is frequently not near the house, which means the install is a distribution job as much as a mounting one. That is the same work as everything else we do.
Worth knowing: if you are in one of the areas Metro Loop or SWIFT has connected, fibre will be cheaper and faster. We will say so. There is no point installing satellite on a property that has fibre at the road.

Common questions
Should I get satellite or wait for fibre?
It depends where you are. Metro Loop fibre is live in Caledonia, Cayuga, Dunnville and Selkirk, and under construction across much of the rest of Haldimand. SWIFT completed Norfolk in 2024. If your address is in a completed area, fibre is the better answer. If you are on a concession the build has not reached, satellite is the realistic option now.
Where does the dish need to go?
Somewhere with an unobstructed view of the sky, which on a treed rural property is often not the roof of the house. A pole mount in a clear spot with a proper cable run back to the building is usually better than a compromised roof position that drops out every time the trees are in leaf.
Can you get the connection out to my barn afterwards?
Yes — that is the part we would argue is the actual job. Getting a fast connection onto the property is step one; distributing it to the buildings you use is what makes it useful.
