WiFi Installation
Fibre arriving at your house does not put WiFi in your shop. Those are two different problems, and the second one is the one nobody solves for you.
Metro Loop is still building across Haldimand, and SWIFT finished Norfolk in 2024. A lot of properties in both counties now have a genuinely fast connection at one point on the property and nothing useful anywhere else. The internet provider is not going to fix that — their job ends at the demarcation point.
Whole-property coverage is a design problem, not a shopping problem. Where the access points go, how they are fed, and how buildings are linked determines whether it works. Adding another extender to a chain of extenders is why so many properties have four networks and no signal.

Common questions
How long does WiFi installation take?
A typical house is half a day. A property with outbuildings that need links is usually a full day, occasionally two if cable has to be run any distance or a mast needs mounting. We will tell you which it is after the site walk rather than partway through.
Will a WiFi extender reach my barn?
Almost never, if the barn is any real distance away. Extenders halve throughput and need a solid signal to begin with, so chaining them across a yard produces something technically connected and practically unusable. At that distance a point-to-point link is the right tool.
I just got fibre. Why is my WiFi still bad?
Because fibre is the connection and WiFi is the distribution, and the provider only handled the first one. A gigabit at the demarcation point does not travel any further through walls, steel or open yard than the router can push it. This is the single most common call we get in the areas Metro Loop and SWIFT have recently connected.
